Agreement
By creating, importing, or watching a wallet you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old. These terms apply to Kas Wallet on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Non-custodial software
Kas Wallet is software that lets you hold keys on this device. We never have your recovery phrase. We cannot freeze, reverse, or restore transactions. If you lose the phrase and this device, the coins on those addresses cannot be recovered by us, by Apple, by Google, or by anyone else.
Not financial advice
Nothing in the app is an offer to buy or sell a cryptoasset, and Kas Wallet does not operate an exchange. Displayed prices are informational estimates from public chain data and may be wrong, delayed, or incomplete. Cryptoassets can lose all value. You are solely responsible for tax, legal, and investment decisions.
What this app does
You can create or import a BIP-39 English phrase (12–24 words), hold more than one wallet on this device, receive and send KAS on Kaspa L1, and receive and send iKAS and tokens on Igra (chain ID 38833) from the same phrase. On Igra you can sign a pool swap through a public router. Kas Wallet does not take a swap fee. The pool keeps its own fee, and network gas is paid to the network. You can revoke a token allowance. There is no fiat on-ramp, WalletConnect session, in-app browser, or L1 to L2 bridge.
Compatibility
Standard Kaspa wallets (Kaspium, Kasware, kaspa-ng, official kaspad) that use BIP-39 and m/44'/111111' produce the same L1 addresses. Optional BIP-39 passphrases must match exactly, including blank. Legacy KDX and wallet.kaspanet.io used a different derivation (m/44'/972/… with a non-standard BIP-32 quirk). On import, Kas Wallet discovers and can spend those legacy addresses so you can move funds to the standard path. New receives always use the standard address.
Irreversible transfers
Broadcasts are final once accepted by the network. You must verify the destination address. Network fees are paid in KAS or iKAS to the respective networks, not to Kas Wallet, Apple, or Google.
Third-party networks
Public nodes and indexers can be unavailable, rate-limited, or return incomplete data. Kas Wallet does not control Kaspa, Igra, Kasplex, or CoinGecko.
Your responsibilities
Keep an offline copy of the recovery phrase. Do not enter it into any website, screenshot it, or send it in a message. Unlock biometrics only on this device. You are responsible for all activity signed with your keys.
Deletion
You may delete a single wallet or all wallets and all local data at any time from inside the app. Deletion cannot be undone on this device. Coins remain on-chain.
Independence
Kas Wallet is independent software published by THE PROPERTY TECH, LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Kaspa Ecosystem Foundation, Apple, or Google.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded Kas Wallet from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and THE PROPERTY TECH, LLC only, not Apple. Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. THE PROPERTY TECH, LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection or privacy claims, and claims that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
Google Play
If you downloaded Kas Wallet from Google Play, these terms are between you and THE PROPERTY TECH, LLC only, not Google. Your use of Google Play is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, or support.
Legal compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you use the app.
Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOST KEYS, LOST FUNDS, FAILED BROADCASTS, INACCURATE BALANCES, OR THIRD-PARTY NETWORK FAILURES.
Export
The iOS app uses only encryption that is exempt from U.S. EAR encryption registration (ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = false).
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
