Who we are

Kas Wallet is a non-custodial app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. We do not create an online account for you, we do not take possession of your coins, and we do not operate a server that stores your recovery phrase or private keys.

What is stored on this device

Your recovery phrase, seed, spend-password material, wallet names, and address book stay on the device. On iPhone and iPad they are stored in the iOS Keychain (When Unlocked, This Device Only) or, if the system Keychain is unavailable, in an app sandbox file with Complete File Protection. Nothing secret is written to UserDefaults. Secrets are not included in backups that leave the device through iCloud Keychain for this item class. On Android they are stored encrypted with the Android Keystore. Cloud backup and device-to-device transfer of this app’s data are turned off.

What is not collected

There is no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, no crash reporter, no email sign-in, and no remote backup of the recovery phrase. We do not sell data. The iOS privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types. The Android app collects no data for the developer.

Network requests

To show balances and activity the app sends public addresses to third-party infrastructure: api.kaspa.org (Kaspa REST), api.kasplex.org (KRC-20 balances), api.kaspa.com (KRC-20 prices), rpc.igralabs.com (Igra JSON-RPC), and api.coingecko.com (KAS/USD). Those operators may see IP addresses and the public addresses or token tickers you query, under their own policies. Kas Wallet does not receive a copy of that traffic. Tor is optional and off until you turn it on. On iPhone and iPad it can route chain and price requests through Tor on the device. On Android it uses a Tor SOCKS proxy already running on the device, such as Orbot. Keys stay on the device either way.

Permissions

Camera is used only to scan a recipient address from a QR code. Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics are used only to unlock the wallets on this device. None of these permissions is used for advertising.

Account deletion

Creating a wallet is account creation on this device. You can delete one wallet, or delete all wallets and all data, from Settings and from the lock screen. Deletion removes the local keys, the address book, caches, app files, and clipboard or pasteboard copies of addresses or the phrase from this device. On-chain balances are not moved. Nothing remains on a Kas Wallet server because nothing was uploaded.

Data retention

Data on this device is kept until you delete it inside the app or uninstall the app. Because the developer collects no personal data, the developer retains none. Transactions you broadcast are recorded permanently on the public Kaspa and Igra networks and cannot be erased by anyone.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the developer holds no personal data about you, you exercise these rights directly in the app: view, change, or delete your wallets at any time. You can turn Tor on, revoke camera or biometric permission in your device settings, or uninstall the app. For any privacy question or request, email info@theproperty.bond.

Children

The app is intended for people 18 years or older. Do not use it to store value for a child.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes before they take effect.
